It's been quite a time to be alive in recent years as we've witnessed unprecedented changes in the modern world. Between a global pandemic, increased violence and wars, political upheaval and social unrest, it's no wonder so many people find themselves feeling less hopeful and certainly more challenged to recognize their lives as purposeful and fulfilled. There's been a lot of collective soul searching and spiritual yearning and with that, an urgent need to connect with Source, our Higher Selves, Ancestors and Spirit Guides.
As I write this, we are entering a long cycle of Pluto in Aquarius whose mission is to bring major shifts in science, technology, AI, social platforms, revelations about ETs, deep societal and governmental changes and God only knows what else. Through it all, we will adapt, build or rebuild communities both tangible and virtual. Many of us will feel called to explore and utilize all spiritual tools at our disposal, everything from Reiki to Tai Chi, Music to Mediation, Somatic Yoga to Salsa, any and everything to discover and grow the mind/body/spirit connection. In other words, we will feel our way forward, trusting that if our Infinite Souls decided to experience Earth at this time, there's a reason that has nothing to do with punishment and everything to do with finding our truest selves.
Like the Hermit Archetype in Tarot, so much of what we are experiencing is moving us in two directions at once -- inward and outward. Inwardly, we are becoming more aware of the need for shadow work, radical self care and openness to Divine Wisdom. We know firsthand that spirituality is not merely a concept or philosophical topic of discussion but rather a necessity born of the realization that our destiny is the tapestry of decisions made and actions taken. Inwardly, we search ourselves for the best next moves and trust the Divine will help guide us during the quest. Outwardly, we may find avenues that allow us to create space to simply be, to rest and feel restored. We may end and begin friendships, careers, living spaces or locations, courses of study and deeper exploration. The Hermit always moves towards the light, towards Source, step by step, day by day, lifetime after lifetime.
As you enter this new era of change -- astrologically, politically, socially and spiritually -- know that it's perfectly okay to feel ALL the feelings! To suppress or deny your truth is not only harmful but also an unnecessary delay in your personal growth and ability to achieve the wonderful things you came here to do. The objectives are different for everyone, but collectively, when done with the intention of the good of self and all, they work to impact the collective consciousness in powerful ways. You may feel alone and overwhelmed at times but at all times you are a part of something larger, something great! The Cosmos needs you to feel your way and your fellow Souls on the Spiritual Path need you to stand with them in the power of possibility.
Please use your tools during this time! Develop a routine to strengthen your spirit -- build altars, plant gardens or pot plants with crystals, dry flowers and create scents, paint, dance, cook, work with tarot and oracle decks, try Tai Chi, Qi Gong, take walks, speak self love spells, write three gratitude sentences a day, hug a friend, seek support, share your stories, embrace the power of your timeless Soul, feel all the feels!

First, I would like to acknowledge the visuals you used to accompany this blog. I find them extremely serene yet empowering.
This particularar sentence spoke to me amongst the rest…
“We know firsthand that spirituality is not merely a concept or philosophical topic of discussion but rather a necessity born of the realization that our destiny is the tapestry of decisions made and actions taken.”
Please know I will be meditating on it this week, and hope to gain greater clarity.
Thanks for all you do…for those in this community, and for the greater love and goodness of humanity.
Hi Afefe, Thank you for the beautiful post. ❤️ Any chance you might offer a beginner (like day #1) Tarot course in the new year? Xo
Thank you, Afefe. Your wisdom shines through these words.
